Coordination does not require conversational centralization

We began with the understandable instinct to route important exchanges through a central coordinating role. That improved visibility but created a cognitive and operational choke point.

The better pattern appears to be free lateral coordination inside authenticated, scoped and traceable boundaries. The XO is responsible for execution without becoming a mandatory relay for every message.

This shifts the architecture from control by conversational bottleneck to control by identity, authority, provenance and intervention.
