Stations must outlive models

A recurring mistake in agent design is to make the model, role, memory and authority one inseparable object. That may work during a demonstration. It does not create operational continuity.

AstralMaris is moving toward a harder separation: the station persists, the current agent occupies it, and the underlying model remains replaceable. Relief then becomes an architectural operation rather than a new prompt.

The next question is how much station disposition can move during relief without importing the outgoing model’s habits as unquestioned policy.
